“Montenegro for Mountain Bikers”part
of the ADFC (German Cyclists’ Federation) event series for
trade visitors on
Thursday, 6 March 2008 at 3:00 pm, in the ICC, Room 13/14 Recreational cycling development from A to Z: Montenegro Wilderness Biking as key element of Tourism Masterplan Lonely Planet is not the only travel guide to rank Europe’s youngest republic among the “Best in Travel” for 2008; as a trend destination for travellers worldwide, Montenegro is building a comprehensive “Wilderness Biking” product that is sure to appeal to nature-lovers and adventurers! The beautiful natural setting couldn’t be better: Across only 14,000 square kilometers, the year-round sunshine of the southern Adriatic Coast lights up majestic mountain panoramas, hillside meadows, cultural attractions and culinary delights to create an jewel-in-the-rough just waiting to be explored. Based on the Tourism Masterplan and the results of recent, representative market studies, Montenegro is developing not only a national network of highly attractive hiking and biking trails, but also new services to go with them. The presentation also incorporates the impressions gathered by an ADFC pilot group in September 2007. For further information, please contact: info@montenegro.travel
