Officially, this sport started in Montenegro is 1856, and the first official success was the conquest of Mont Blanc  (4810m) in 1963. Two years later  the Nevidio Canyon was conquered also. Montenegrin crags are convenient for this sport. In addition to this sport, mountain rescue service, mountaineering,  free climbing, and speleology are enjoyed.
